This is an original illustration I created of a Psycho from the video game "Borderlands". It was created based off of a promotional image for the game. I used a pen & ink sketchy style, with some solid color and digital paints for the background. I always feel a little guilty when recreating something that's already an "illustration". However I REALLY wanted to draw a Psycho from Borderlands because they're my favorite character in the game. Mainly because they manage to freak me out everytime I have to fight one. To be honest my favorite thing about Borderlands is the style of artwork. I LOVE that they mix cartoonish looking characters with a realistic/detailed landscape.
