DA is not what it used to be. Years ago you could boost your adopts by submitting them to groups and that worked, nowadays you have to rely on algorithms and hype badges. The home page is just like instagram where it only shows drawings from ppl the algorithm thinks you like and barely any new posts from artists and groups you watch. If I win the lottery one day I’ll buy DA and change it back to normal and ban AI art.

Every street you walk is packed with vendors. Many are selling old and useless things but the real thrill is the very likely chance that something special is waiting to be found in any underestimated booth. You are in the heart of the crowd now. You avoid being ran over but in the chaos a glint catches your eye. Without slowing down less you be trampled you grab it and hurry to a quiet place. Away from the business you inspect your find, a beautiful mirror miraculously in good condition. You nearly miss its single flaw. A neat single crack down the center; a jagged line down not your face but a familiar stranger’s.
