I rarely use it just because I don't know how to set the camera. It's so frustrating.

One way you can start to learn your setting is to get a tripod. Try to always use it when shooting. Set your camera to program mode. Program mode will pick your shutter & f-stop for you. Before you press the shutter to take a shot look at your LCD screen & it will tell you the values that your camera has picked to take the shot. That will help you get familiar with what f-stop & shutter speed you should be using under different lighting conditions. Hope that helps a little. Have fun learning!
