.... Ummummm, okay so she don't exactly look sad, but I'm more trying to do concept... I'm rubbish at it though. Ah. Okay, so I wanted to play with these jewels I got.

This is really amazing! The tones are so perfect, really giving a subtle emphasis on the jewels. The dark areas work just so well, its such a great concept and I really thing you've made it work

Wow - I really like this - you did a great job! I love the jewels and the selective coloring. I think she looks rather defiant - as if daring the viewer to question her pain.

great concept.. its beautifully done. to me it kind of suggests that whole "i'll never forget what you did to me" sort of thing - like the crystals are frozen tears..

Actually, that makes perfect sense. Frozen tears can describe it exactly... I know how it feels (not the frozen tears, more like the "I'll never forget" part)

I know what you mean, I've committed a few of the 'PS overloads' before. They were horrendous. Absolutely terrifying. I ended up looking like someone out of 'The Rocky Horror Show'... without intending to of course

Beautiful piece and concept. I have actually tried this before, with crystals and everything, but it didn't turn out ANYTHING like this. The way you've used the lighting to create such rich shadows, and to make your skin fairly seem to shimmer and glow, impresses me. I love the look in your eyes too - it's not exactly sad, like you're crying, but seems to be more challenging, as if you're asking the person who broke your heart to step forward and take responsibility. Love it.
