History: In late 1954, the US detonated a nuclear bomb on Bikini Atoll. Shortly after the detonation, another radioactive signature was picked up on US monitors. It was moving at high speeds towards the detonation zone. The destroyers stationed near Bikini Atoll started picking this object up on their radars, and moments later, one was struck with an immeasurable amount of force. The metal creaked and groaned as it was torn apart like paper. Large spines were seen smashing through the ship. As quick as it had struck, the object disappeared, leaving the ship's hull battered and destroyed. Later examination of the ship, the USS Lawton, showed large slashes through the bottom of the ship. After the beast ripped through the ship, the vessel caught flames as it started to flood and sink. As the flames reached the ship's artillery ammunition, they exploded, tearing open the ship, sinking it and leaving over half the crew dead.

As the beast neared the shore, the water receded, before rushing back up in a small tsunami, as the creature stomped onto the beach. The beast was reptilian, with red glowing eyes. The beast stomped inland before digging out a giant shallow hole, before laying down in it, seemingly taking a nap. Spotting the threat of the beast, the US deployed a battleship and 3 jets to try and eliminate the creature. Hours later, an offshore destroyer started bombarding the island with artillery as the jets dropped bombs. As the smoke cleared, the beast had completely disappeared, with no visible body. Seconds later, the beast rose from the water, sinking its claws into the ship's side, slashing through it and as it swam into the depths, its tail slammed into the ship, damaging it even more. Luckily, most of the crew was evacuated in time, before the ship blew up.

With the beast on the move, the US deployed multiple destroyers to follow it, constantly bombarding the beast with depth charges. The US also warned the recently formed JSDF of the threat, who set up a naval barricade along their southern border, and sent Japanese soldiers to help American soldiers guard their small islands in the pacific, though these forces would not be enough. Godzilla's path of destruction was predicted to hit the small island chain, the Goji islands (which was made up of 4 small islands, all spaced about 4 miles apart in a chain), which was currently being evacuated, along with the other islands around the pacific. It almost made landfall on the small Lagos island, but was deterred by the battleship's artillery and depth charges. Eventually they arrived at the slightly larger Odo island, which had been evacuated and all the birds had fled on their own, seemingly sensing the creature's arrival, which the monster attacked. The beast trudged onto the beach, destroying the island's small coastal village with ease, before turning its attention to the highlands, where the islanders who hadn't left were hiding. The beast marched through the jungle before reaching the mountains, which it lit on fire with a blue beam from its mouth, small parasites dropping from the creature's body, attacking soldiers and villagers, before then returning to the ocean. Any military resistance on the island had no effect on the creature. The radiation left by the beast left Odo island uninhabitable for nearly 10 more years

One day, all the birds in the Tokyo bay area fled and the waterline almost completely receded in a few hours. Noticing the signs, the JSDF created a naval barricade around the bay and set up artillery and tanks in strategic positions, while also beginning a large-scale evacuation of Tokyo. This was Japan's largest military mobilization since WW2. Like predicted, the beast was sighted nearing Tokyo. The creature smashed through the naval barricade, sinking 3 ships in the process. The bombardment began but like previous attempts, it had no effect on the beast's seemingly indestructible hide. A small tsunami flooded the lowest parts of the city, dragging people into the bay with the receding water. The beast made landfall and began to raise hell, before returning to the water at daybreak. The creature proceeded to do this for 5 more long grueling days, before an unlikely hero rose up.

Dr. Eiji Serizawa had discovered a small microorganism from the Cambrian that created a substance called micro-oxygen to survive in modern day. He had been studying this creature for the past 3 years, and had learned that this micro-oxygen was incredibly deadly, even in small quantities, capable of breaking down organisms to the molecular level, turning them into a sort of organic soup. He was afraid to share the knowledge of this discovery to the rest of the world due to the catastrophic capabilities it had. After a while of internal debate, he decided to give the weapon to the JSDF, in hopes of being able to eliminate the creature, which was now called Gojira (later anglicized to Godzilla), after a legendary being in the Lagos island mythology. After handing over the weapon, dubbed the O-bomb, Dr. Serizawa committed suicide after burning his notes, bringing the knowledge of micro-oxygen and the o-bomb to his grave.

The bomb's effects were immediately noticeable, as fish skeletons rose to the surface of the water with Gojira following shortly after, his rapidly decaying body rising above the water level, with steam rising up all around him, before a large blast was emitted from his body due to his eternal cooler being damaged. The Godzilla event would later be covered up by the US and Japanese governments in fear of the knowledge of ancient giants who once ruled over earth to leak to the press.

As kaiju organisations scoured the globe for more kaiju, little did they know, they had just flung Pandora's box all the way open…

Godzilla has stayed on top for billions of years, thanks to his rapid evolution, which allows him to adapt to new climates and situations with ease. Godzilla comes from the nuclear age, when volcanic eruptions and meteors created major amounts of radiation in the atmosphere, which Godzilla adapted to living in, even going so far as feeding off of it. Godzilla is also quite smart, being able to set traps and know his limits when it comes to battles. Godzilla is normally indifferent to other kaiju, not caring about them unless they challenge or anger him. Godzilla is worshiped by lots of small islands in the pacific, who regard him as the god of destruction. Godzilla is hostile to humans who he regards as pests and will actively try and kill them, even the ones that worship him. Godzilla prefers to fight during the night, due to him being slightly nocturnal and used to the darkness of being so deep underwater.

Godzilla’s most intimidating ability is his regeneration, allowing him to regenerate injuries overnight. To help his regeneration be more efficient, Godzilla has strong armor-like hide lining his whole body, which can sustain blasts from missiles and not be fully destroyed. Godzilla also has spines on his back that act as protection for his back and he can use them to attack foes. Even Godzilla’s gills are protected, having plates that slide over them when he is not underwater. Godzilla’s jaws are full of deadly serrated teeth, great at slicing through flesh. He also has an incredibly immense bite-force, crushing submarines with his jaws in ease. Godzilla has two horns on his head, located above his eyes. These act as intimidation and for protection of his eyes, along with a pair of clear eyelids. Godzilla’s eyes are great at seeing in the dark, due to his nocturnal behavior. Godzilla’s strong arms are armed with giant claws, which can obliterate a building with a single blow. Due to Godzilla’s immense size, he has a second brain in his hip that controls his lower body. Thanks to this, even if his primary brain (in his head) is damaged or destroyed, it can still regenerate as long as both brains are intact. Godzilla’s huge feet can crush tanks without him even noticing. Godzilla’s feet have hundreds of tiny spikes on them that grip to the ground. This helps him maintain control while firing his atomic breath, and while sitting on the ocean floor. Godzilla’s tail is also extremely powerful, leveling skyscrapers in a single swing. The end of his tail also has spines, allowing the tail to be used as a club. Due to Godzilla’s tail being controlled by his second brain, it acts like it has a mind of its own, smashing buildings without Godzilla taking any notice.
Godzilla is covered in giant parasites, called Shockirus, that were mutated by the radiation he gives off. These parasites can be up to 4 ft long. When Godzilla makes landfall, these parasites will drop off his skin and feed on any animals they can find. These parasites have been seen eating coastal birds that land on Godzilla. Due to the parasites living on Godzilla, whenever Godzilla goes to Odo island, he is swarmed by large flying reptilian creatures, which feed off the parasites that inhabit Godzilla’s skin. These creatures have been dubbed Godzuki, due to their slight resemblance to the king of the monsters.

Godzilla feeds on Underwater geothermal vents and volcanoes, which give off the radiation he feeds on. He only leaves these food sources when another kaiju opposes him, or there is a better food source nearby. Godzilla is constantly giving off radiation, making areas he goes in deadly for humans to go in without protective gear. The radiation he gives off can leave an area uninhabitable for up to a whole year. The radiation that Godzilla feeds on can be harnessed using an organ in his spine. This organ converts the radiation into energy. Sometimes, if Godzilla takes in too much radiation, an organ in his throat will take this radiation and disperse it through his gills, creating a powerful blast of heat and energy (called the nuclear pulse), lighting everything in a 2 mile radius on fire, and creating a temporary energy bubble that acts like a force field. If this cooling organ is damaged, it can result in Godzilla’s meltdown, in which a powerful blast forms around him with the same power of the little boy nuke dropped on Nagasaki. If this happens, it leaves Godzilla in a state of dormancy, in which he is incredibly weak. Godzilla can harness the radiation he feeds on and launch it out in a powerful beam from his mouth, called his atomic breath. It will slice through buildings and other kaiju’s hide. It is incredibly hot, incinerating any flesh near it. This blast is so powerful, if Godzilla is not sturdy, it will push him backwards, and slightly lift him off the ground, giving the appearance that he is hovering. When fully stable, Godzilla can accurately hit targets up to 5 miles away. Due to his radiation organ being located in his spine, when Godzilla uses his atomic breath, the dorsal spines on his back glow a blue color.
Godzilla is easily one of the strongest daikaiju ever recorded, and his powers make it clear why. He is a beast that will go down in history.
