Description
Bat Bombers are third level Nightmaren in the service of Wizeman.
The first of these creatures originally started out as figments of airplanes, which were transformed when their Dreamscape became corrupted by Nightmare.
Their existence came to Wizemans attention when a patrol that entered the Dreamscape was attacked. Thinking that the corrupted figments may be of some use, the surviving creatures where captured and taken to a Dream Forge where their essence was strengthened and altered until they became true Nightmaren.
Bat Bombers are often given the task of patrolling Nightmares air space, and also give Nightmaren colonies an eye in the sky.
They are also encountered in the Waking World where they are a part of the Somnambulist air forces. They also serve as couriers.

Powers/Abilities:

Horn of Nightmare: A favored tactic of a Bat Bomber is to swoop down upon a target while uttering a dreadful wail. This wail is often called the Horn of Nightmaren and has the ability to inflict paralyzing fear upon those who hear it.

Bombardment: A Bat Bomber has the ability to fire salvos of glowing projectiles from its mouth.

Alt mode: A Bat Bomber has the ability to turn into an aircraft. In this form it has greater speed and maneuverability.
