Description My first go at doing a Guyver Unit.

2B, 4B, 8B on 246 lb linen canvas 9"x12"

The Guyver is a symbiotic techno-organic (or biomechanical) device that enhances the capabilities of its host. A test type Zoanoid escapes from the Chronos Corporation with three Guyver Units. Chronos soldiers attempt to recover the units from the test type, but are thwarted when the test type detonates a bomb that he has concealed in his bag. The Guyver Units are scattered in the blast. Two young high school students, Shō Fukamachi and Tetsurō Segawa stumble across a lost Guyver Unit known as "Unit I.

I've been drawing since about your age, so just lots and lots of time. Did a few college art classes last year and the year before. The art professor says its just muscle memory for much of it, the rest is what you put into it.

You can do, just stay with it

Now that's great! You don't often see the Guyver, or any other Japanese monster/hero characters done up in pencil. Usually they are colored, either traditionally or digitally. Nice job!

Thanks

I started with the idea of doing it in ink, that's why it's on linen canvas. But after I did some of the shading the ink idea went out the window.
