another oekaki; here's a copy of my post on the boardsorry for making you people put up with this, but i'm super excited for the new young justice cartoon that's coming out in january
first of all, i love dc stuff, even though i was never a huge western comic kid. robin has always been my favorite dc character, and i love his new design for this series(he's such a little nerd, it's adorable) not to mention the fact that tim's* always been my fav robin<333
not to mention cartoon network has finally come up with a series that doesn't scare the crap out of me/completely disgust me(no offence to anyone who might watch adventure time or whatever it's called, but those shows are just... i'll stop now to avoid offending anyone/getting banned for colorful language >.>'')
anyway, sorry for my dorkiness and mini-rant(or whatever you want to call it)
so yeah, tim drake's new design for the cn cartoon 'young justice' coming out in january.*sadly i've been informed that the little review i read somewhere is wrong, and that it isn't tim, it's dick, but oh well ;n;
i am so excited it's not even funny *__*
i don't own robin sadly

i love it too! but if i'm not mistaken, the timing's a bit young for tim...seems more probible that it would be dick.....but the costume and attitude's sure timmy! idk, believe what u want him to be! it's all in good fun! C:

Yeah sorry for mentioning it once mroe Just say like two other people mentioned it hey but ya ain't the only one sad that it's not Tim. A lot of people thought it was Tim at first but nah it's Dick. If they got the personality right I'd be 'Hey that's cool. Nice job Dick' but no they like did a mix of Jason and Tim (Are we back to the 90's animated series or what?)

i actually only saw a piece of the preview movie, and i only heard them call him robin so i just assumed he was tim based on his little nerd factor
and sadly i actually haven't seen a ton of dc stuff(there's nowhere that sells it near me ;n; ) but i was hoping for something closer to the original yj comic, and this seems a bit more like teen titans

Yeah it's basically a mix of Teen Titans and the Young Justice comic (though only thing in common with the Young Justice comic is that Red Tornado is a big part of the team and Superboy is on the team) everything is else is just....blarg. The animation I won't lie is beautiful.
And hey don't worry all my info of what's going on in the comics comes from wikipedia XD only DC related thing I own is a Batman graphic novel XD

*has been reading wiki page for a month now cause I'm just that nerdy* Awesome. Hope to see the series improve over time. Also I'm happy they have the guy who voiced Batman in the Batman: Under the Red Hood movie voicing him in this series. His voice is awesome.

It's kinda....I admit Batman sounding. At some parts. MAybe after he lightens up it'll be better. Also not happy with Robin's voice (only on some parts though) don't know if you saw this part yet (you said you only saw half right?) but when they are about to sneak in through the air ducts and Robin's like 'Are you kidding? This is perfect!' I don't know how to explain it but he slightly sounds like he is stuttering when he says perfect.

i hope so :[ and lol yes i have the 2nd half of the movie recorded and i've rewatched it 90 times today i would have liked his voice if he were tim. for dick it's just... awkward i guess. he sounds a little too adorable imo XD(and that particular scene has been bugging me too

(I ain't the only one who gets bugged by that scene!) Yeah even as a kid Dick would have the 'I am so manly it hurts' voice while Tim would have the nerdy cute voice. But either way it is an adorable voice

They did it because Dick and Wally are more well known as Robin and Kid Flash rather then Tim and Bart. Lame reason cause I doubt any kid would care which one was Robin but us hardcore fans are gonna care for continuty sake.

lol i know very few kids that know the real names of any of the robins/kid flashes so it's just ridiculous imo XD (but i guess i can see where they would feel like it was necessary- mind you i'm still not completely satisfied but oh well)

I didn't even know there was more then one Robin till two years ago XD In some levels I can see why cause maybe old time fans would be more familiar but they should understand that some of us want the darn right continuty.
Plus this series takes place on Earth-16 (one of the many multi-verses of DC) and Earth-16 is home to Bruce Jr. and Clark Jr. (Superman Jr. and Batman Jr. Batman and Superman's 'kids' ) so I'd like to know how they explain that while using this Earth.

lol i didn't realize that all of the robins were actually connected until not too long ago either XD (and you would think that old time fans looking for familiarity would want something closer to the original young justice =v=;; )
and lol i'm sure they'll just brush over such 'minor' details XD (because cn is so good with sticking to traditional plot lines like that =_

Well we sure took our sweet time learning this stuff XD one thing I always hope for (but it'll never happen) is that the Stephanie Brown version of Robin appears but sadley since barley anyone knows about her as Robin (mainly known as Spoiler or Batgirl) she'll never get it T___T

i guess i don't know her well enough to have a solid opinion of her, but if she's at very least higher up on your list i'll be sure to give her a chance as long as she stays in 'lone wolf mode' /shotagain

I only know what I learn from wiki and what people who've actually read the comics tell me and she does seem like a decent character. Some things about her make ya wanna go 'What the crap Steph?' but some of her reasons are very good. She is a good character to take a chance on. Plus she's not one of those heroes who comes in all 'I can do this! And this! And I'm all that cause I've already done this' she's still learning and becoming a better hero (and when you have the firt Batgirl as your mentor you know your learning well) She'll probably be a lone wolf for a while since she's been through so much she's probably just all 'Heck with other people'

i can't stand female characters that are just useless bimbos/whores made for nothing more than getting in the way/being coupled with some useful character. >.< especially since that then lowers my opinion of the character said bimbo is put with, and it's an overall disappointing circle of suck. :'C and the over-confident female characters bug me too =_=; (i mean it's fine if it's a guy imo, but i'm a lot less accepting of girl characters overall so it really bugs me when they're all like 'oh i'm awesome!' then proceed to get kidnapped or something like that. again, this doesn't bother me at all if it's a guy character. kind of weird since i'm a chick myself, but w/e

I think you'd like her she's really neat (in my opinion) cause yeah she's not just there to be with Tim. She was there to be the daughter to the new revised ClueMaster. In the beginning yeah she was just....geez. But she has improved greatly ^__^ and DC doesn't have Tim all 'I love you Steph. You are so wonderful. Forget your past I love you' he's actually very distant from her. Stephanie from what I heard does still love him but she doesn't push herself on him (she does try to help but she's not all 'I'm in your face Tim' ) so yeah you may like her ^___^
