This is beautiful yet sad because in the end, Rosa will always blame Maria for everything, her husband leaving, letting her past get to her and using Maria to get money but abuses her and ruining Maria mentally to where people think she is four years old and realize that her mother is doing that to her.
Rosa's lust ended up winning and she ended up losing Maria forever.
