Description
Full Name: Shadow Robotnik.

Honestly, Shadow was the character I knew would be the hardest to redesign because in my opinion, his design is already perfect. Since I still want the design to resemble the normal shadow while being distinctive, I had to do something bold wild playing it safe.

So I emphasized the red highlights of his design and created some contrast by having his rings be emerald green (and yes, I purposefully made them polygonal shapes to reference the chaos emeralds). Since red is the complementary color of green, I think this works out pretty well.

Also, just in case anyone’s wondering, I believe shadows natural eye color would still be red, but I like to think when he taps into the Chaos Force, his eyes would change to a shade of green.
