Another fandom first (for canon characters at least), RWBY! Thank you for introducing me to this awesome show!I'm pretty happy with the faces, and Ruby and Weiss overall; but without refs I botched Blake and Yang's costumes. So to save supplies I didn't bother coloring it.

The more I think about it, the more I headcanon Yang as being 18. For one, it would make her dad a little less of a douche for losing the mother of his child and then immediately getting his other female teammate pregnant about a year later. This way, if she and Ruby are 3 years apart, we can say that Raven abandoned Yang, and Summer immediately came running in to take care of the baby (since leaving an infant with two men who up until now have never really dealt with responsibility like this can't end well and Summer was always the mom type) and being around Taiyang 24/7 rekindled the old flame that I headcanon as being there before he broke up with her for Raven.
Also, it makes Yang's mom-li-ness towards her sister and to a lesser extent her other teammates a little more reasonable if she's oldest.

Headcanon accepted! She and Blake definitely seem to be the most mature of the bunch. I'd say Blake's a hard 17 (grew up fast in White Fang) at least. I tried to give Ruby some extra 'puppy fat,' since she's the youngest. I know my chipmunk cheeks were extra stuffed at that age.
So Ruby's mom's name was Summer? Hm. You know, the personality of the summer maiden from this week's video did make me think of Ruby and her perky ways!

I agree with Blake being a hardened 17 and Yang being the oldest.
Yep, her mom was named Summer Rose--that's why in my Rosewick world Ruby and Roman's daughter is named Summer Rose. (Of course, Summer isn't born until Ruby is about 30 because she and Roman don't get together until she's 20) and Yang's mom is Raven.

I highly recommend it! The animation seems a little weird at first, but you'll get used to it and it improves. The action scenes are really well done!
