All the better that I upload this after the Sisterhooves Special.
After making Typhoon I couldn't resist making a whole fan-family for RD. She's supposed to be the second oldest. The whiny one with the cut I've named Drizzle (ATHF for the win!) and his cutie mark is three raindrops. The bullyish little one I don't have a name for yet, but the youngest one I've named Cyclone Twist (Twist/Twist shipping anyone?). The mom tries to intervene on Dash's behalf, but when her husband has basically checked out of parenting it's not that easy. And this scenario, my friends, is one of the reason Dash stays in Ponyville most of the time.

TC's upgraded 'mom voice' does give the Canterlot Royal Voice a run for its money. Maybe she could give Leto some pointers in the 'go to your room' tone and/or vice-versa.
And I do love the idea of Rainbow Dash having something from her childhood that she'd try to hide...
*Once she's sure no one's around, Rainbow Dash wraps her old 'Little Mermaid' blanket around herself and smiles as she nestles into the old comfort*

All these years later and I still keep coming back to this. I love the Dashes (I'd say they're my favorite characters of yours).

Rainbow Dash have been my least favorite of the Mane 6, but I can sympathize with her here.
Mostly because this feels like my Aunt Debbie's life in a nutshell. It just seems like my two older cousins (her daughters), my uncle and almost everyone else needs her for EVERY little thing. I feel she really needs and deserves a break from her family's neediness.

She needs to get mean. People are pretty quick to back off when they realize you won't tolerate that kind of thing anymore, and she'd be more than justified.
The Dashes have actually evolved a lot beyond this drawing. :iconjangofett1138plz: has helped me develop them tremendously. He has some wonderful stories in his gallery featuring their adventures if you're curious.

I wish she could. She just got a cold, and my mom and I believe she got it from all the stress she takes on.
