I'm just kind of curious though... Why do they have green hair? Is that an effect from being super saiyan or do they just have green hair?

Well, they have green hair cuz they are Trunks' kids... and Trunks has violet hair, and his wife is blond! So I tought "well... violet is kinda blue... blue + yellow = green!"
