Green Lantern Redesigns I did awhile back, which was posted on the amazing Project:Rooftop (check out the site if you haven't!). Enjoy y'all!
The whole idea here is about the ring creating the costume, just thought that perhaps the basic outfit (left) should be black with a sort of “galactic camo” (not unlike Starman’s), and the ring builds the overlapping outfit on top of it, depending on the circumstance. We have the standard, more militaristic uniform (middle)- very armor-like with emphasis on the ring hand, while the shoulder on the other side holds a sort of rank, and also a ceremonial outfit (right), for funerals and celebrations on Oa.

I may be a few years late for the party, but I just found out about this on pinterest (had quite a hard time tracing it back to you, by the way) and I wanted to let you know that I think it's pure GENIUS! I'm a huge Hal Jordan fan and always been a purist about his costume...but this may be the very first time I'd be glad to see him don a new suit altogheter!

Funny how I'm a comic book artist myself, but the artist GL is my third favourite after Hal and John Stewart (he still ranks way higher than that insufferable Guy Gardner guy)!
Anyway, I meant to ask you if it's okay if I used your design for some illustrations I have in mind and I might get around to draw soon-ish. I'd give you due credit for it, of course. Again, I fell in love with it and I'd really like to see it in action!

The first and third remind me of Luke Skywalker from Episode VI. And Green Lanterns and Jedi are both enforcers of peace throughout their galaxy.

I always thought if they can change their outfit at will then why don't they change for different occasions. Brilliant concept with the ceremonial outfit. People are always dying in the comics.

Nice design. I really like it. I looks a lot like the tech armor that sentinels in Mass Effect series use. I really like this more space-tech Green Lantern.

first of all, amazing work! i like them all, even the one with the cape, so mystical lol
i don't know if you noticed, but the grad on the shoulder of the second redesign seems really like the indigo tribe symbol XD

anyway, really a good work^^
and, if you read the comics, probably the indigo tribe will have a great role for the corps, so, who knos, maybe a symbol like that could be really used by the green lanterns lol
