I can see a hint of Atomic Betty in the image, I admit, but I don't know the style reference that you mention. Still, it looks pretty keen thus far, and I'm sure that we're all going to be in for a pleasant surprise.

I definitely do recognize the style - a Japanese artist whose name escapes me. He's big on those kinds of steampunk leather armor type styles.
