Description This is the WIP process of my new painting of a cartoon jet .

-The rough was made very quicly . I know very well the harrier shape , so it was matter to deform it in a funny way .

The cleaning of the lines took me most of the time on this project , as the harrier is a 60's jet , it has a lot of surface details.

-The shadow and occlusion are always very fun to do .
it give the drawing a more 3D look .

-next the flats . not so hard to do when you get all the lines ready .
here you can have fun chosing the best color squeme and details.

Not in this image are the final layers , as the bright , and the final touches as dirt and scratches .

Now , please check the complete image , with all the layers merged and composed.

O Harrier foi o mais interessante avanço aeroespacial, faz muito sentido um país como inglaterra desenvolver esse conceito pra equipar seus porta-avioes.

Surprised? I just thought he was showing typical British unflappability, and warming his tea by the exhaust.

Can't wait to see it.

He should be yelling 'GREAT SCOTT!' and his monocle popping out. Other than that, it's entirely culturally accurate.

"great Scott" is one of my choices .

It's all about understanding the British as a people and cherishing their traditions. Really, it's unfortunate that there can't be cheese and crackers in the picture somewhere.
