And here is my illustration of Gwen Tennisson as Lucky Girl .the good old times of the original ben 10 .
They had this chance to launch a new super heroine , but I guess , the studios dont like original female lead characters.
oh well , I hope you enjoy this new art work .

You remember when they completely trashed the lore of the original show in Alien Force by saying that her spells were because she was an energy being? Yeah, I stopped watching after that episode.

I liked the fact that as the series progressed Gwen became more of a force to be reckoned with, what with those magical powers (that she learnt all by herself might I add). But then Alien Force came along and said you know what she was just an alien all along!

Expressão facial,uniforme e pose ficaram muito bons! A meu ver,a única falha está nas cores do fundo:uma vez que a Gwen está usando um uniforme de cor escura(púrpura),atrás dela deveria haver uma cor mais clara como amarelo,azul celeste,verde limão,alaranjado,etc.Isso destacaria mais a menina,evitando uma "camuflagem" como a que ocorreu neste caso.

Well her face look like from ben 10 original show. But her body is indeed 11 year old version of gwen in omniverse.. I mean do you even saw her in omniverse?

Yahoo, Lucky Girl! I remember watching the show and hoping, praying that Gwen would get some powers and spotlight. And lo and behold, my prayers were answered, even if it was only for a little while.
If Ben 10 really is getting a remake (and it shouldn't, unless that remake includes DRASTIC improvements on what's been done to this show since its first season) they need to bring Lucky Girl back, big time~.

Yeah, it completely drove me nuts that they built up this interesting character with Gwen first as Lucky Girl, then expanding into her having a vast raw magical talent but no teacher - and then the follow-up series just couldn't HAVE anything that different and interesting. No, had to retcon it into alien powers inferior to her cousin's, and make her date a Bad Boy. Ugh.
Opportunities squandered.

Yeah, Ben 10 went downhill after the original series and pretty much existed to sell new alien toys. I agree it was stupid to take away Gwen's magical powers & retcon her into a half alien, and Kevin becoming a good guy made no sense either since he was CLEARLY insane and pure evil in the old show, not misunderstood or whatever. That, and Ben became an unlikable douchebag, getting more and more Gary Stuish & arrogant as time went by. The original Ben could be a brat at times, but it was understandable because he was a little kid & learned his lesson over time, but as a teenager he regressed back to being a brat & NEVER seemed to learn true humility ever again. Pretty awful stuff.

Gwen looks really cool in that outfit! They could have done a lot more with her as Lucky Gwen. But, I guess the studio thought she will overshadow Ben.
Overall, I love how she's painted.

And yeah, they're bad at girls being cool, unfortunately. They only ever produced one action figure of Gwen as far as I know. It was in this costume, and I bought one! I would have bought others but they only made the one.
