This is a fan art of Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Seas, created by Jules Verne himself.

Now this book is my....all time favorite book. Or at least, one of my favorite book, higher up there within the rank.

Granted, some people may classified this book as a children, science fiction book, but it's a lot more than that in my opinion. In fact, it's a lot more bleak and grim when looking back at it.

Now Jules Verne has become some what of an inspiration to me. Same with his books. I love all of them, with this one being my all time favorite. He also, likely, pioneer the whole shared universe thing, as this book, along with the other two have some secret connection to one another, which I won't go over, since it complicated.

For one, I like the aesthetic for this book. Very Steampunk like. I especially like the illustration that came packing with it. The illustrations looks awesome. Specifically, the ones made by Leon Benett as some of his style did some what inspire my art style.

Second, the characters are and mainly, Captain Nemo to be interesting. There's a lot of mystique going around Nemo and his motives, and such.

Third....I got nothing. Like I said, I really adore the book.
