Make me want to do a Lolita photoshoot in Barwon Park with rabbits.
It kind of eco-politically incorrect but
bunnies are soooo cute!

The color pattern certainly looks wild, but the body type looks almost domestic. Probably just a very well fed wild rabbit. Probably enjoying the benefits of nearby humans keeping larger predators at bay. The slight pudginess just makes it extra adorable.

from my research, 'wild rabbits'in australia were domestic origin.
in 1869, an English man called Thomas Austin brought 24 brown <3 domestic rabbits to australia, intended for hunting.
He released them in melbourne, precisely start from Barwon House, an adorable victorian mansion.
Soon after, rabbits breed like rabbits and ended up with 600 millions of them before myxomatosis disease was 'invented'

Oh, Australian. That makes more sense. I didn't think it was quite the right shape to be an American Cottontail.
