Those of you who follow me on Twitter will know that at one time, I made memes to elaborate the differences between the theatrical cut of Thomas and the Magic Railroad and the original treatment (more famously known as the Director's Cut) and to help advocate the support for the petitions to release the DC onto home media. That time has since long past and the best we have gotten out of these attempts is the 20th Anniversary Blu-ray packet. At this time, I felt that the original versions of these memes were rather outdated and crudely written. So I revised and updated these memes to present to everyone to remind all the distinct differences in these humorous short comics.

Now, traditionally (at least in Shining Time Station), Mr. Conductor has always been the narrator of the Thomas stories, so there is a bit of sense in making him the narrator of Thomas and the Magic Railroad. But when you look at the original treatment and realize that Lily was intended to be the storyteller and read her narrative dialogue, you pretty much see how cheap and halfbaked Mr. C's narration is. Plus, it would have brought up new elements for a change, one of them being that we could have gotten a female storyteller for once. Who says breaking from tradition is always a bad thing?
