I've seen some works where Charlie ends up committing suicide, but I have yet to see any portraying the consequences. Tell me, how WOULD the other characters react if this actually happened?

Linus goes to comfort Sally, admitting he and Marcie tried to talk Charlie Brown out of it. Lucy admits that she should have let him kick the stupid football. Patty finally stands up to Violet and Shermy by saying what did he ever do to you? And I can't believe that you two conned me into making him suffer when I'm supposed to be the "adult" in this reality
Shermy and Violet feel a little regret but not much about to call Patty out.
Franklin, Marcie and Frieda make funeral arrangements then pig pen and rerun are too young to grasp the concept peppermint patty has the hardest reaction of all because she never got to tell Chuck how she felt about him because she love him .
