Wild. I've only ever seen a beaver habitat once and that was in Colorado.

You and Barbara should come up here some day! I could tell you lots of cool places to go - after living here 40+ years! There's a place here right in the middle of town where I used to walk out my front door into the park and sit above the stream bank watching the beavers build their dam at 2 am in the morning! (the light was just starting to show in the sky) That was THE coolest thing! I don't know if Fish & Game have moved the beavers or not - they were cutting down so many trees in the park, that they may have! But it is marvelous to watch them swimming and carrying their branches! You have to sit VERY sill and not make a sound!

Be careful. We may take you up on your offer one day. Scientific American said we might be close to a super aurora and we'd travel to Alaska on a moment's notice to witness it!

Thank you so much Coco! It was so gorgeous that day! We had just crossed a high mountain pass and had descended to the beautiful area where the beaver ponds were. The water was reflecting the intense blue sky...and it was heaven on earth!
