Yeah. I my headcanon, Yearling and all those others are all cosplayers (including Owie Zoatull; he's the oneΒ who crafts all those McGuffins that Yearling [Daring Do] goes after). They all do this so that the stunts written in her books will all be as accurate as possible. The problem stems from the fact that, after umpteen-skrillion books, the Idea Tank is running at an all-time low.
