Gahhhh... I havent been on my DA in a month! lol, nothing new really happened though...
. The main reason why I havent posted anything on here either is because I've mainly been sketching, trying to get better at proportioning, etc.Anyway, its been a while since I did fanart like this... Its the main characters from the new pokemon black and white 2 game, which I am super excited about lol. They looked so cool I just had to draw them xD! I'll have a drawing video of it soon on youtube

It looks as though you have a good range of values based on the wide range of middle tones you were able to incorporate in the shirts of both characters, in the subtle shadows on their faces (particularly in the female figure), and in the dark of their hair. Your proportions, too, seem spot on! The only gripe I have is in your presentation in what would have otherwise been a beautiful piece. I want to admire your figures, not your sketchbook spirals. I would recommend careful cropping in your future pieces as well as raising brightness in your digital file so the piece doesnβt appear dirty and your whites will appear white instead of a dull grey.
Again, very nice work with both your shading and your proportions

Oh thanks a lot! And yeah, I have to agree with you there... I usually do crop out the spirals (if you look at my previous drawings). But this time I didnt. I dont know what I was thinking in all honesty

I saw a couple on the side and thought it was odd of you to not have cropped your work this time.
Ah, the banes of photographing your work. It happens. I have a couple pieces that I need to photograph myself but I haven't worked up the courage to do so yet.

You know, yeah, I think removing the spirals has already significantly improved the presentation of the piece.
Don't forget- find a way to fix that brightness in the future. I really want to see your work in the best possible quality!
