This took me around 4 hours to do give or take and yes it is a graphite. Animals are my favorite subjects!

I can tell by your strokes that you enjoy what you are doing, and that you enjoy the subject. To me, that's what it is all about.

Thank you so much! I do enjoy drawing, and I thank my Lord everyday for giving me the ability! I agree with you, I think I do so well with animals because I have such a passion for them.

Thank you! I always start with the eyes first because I believe the eyes are what brings the art alive, would you agree? If I don't get the eyes right I will just start over until I get them right. It is probably not the way most do it but it works for me and it's what I have always done. Thank you once again for your compliment!!

you have my respect! so hard for me to draw animals. Their features are under all that fur and hard to get the fur to create that image. You rocked this piece.
