have you changed your config-file accordingly? if not, edit "plank/dock1/config/settings" and change the line "Theme" to "Theme=Transparent"

Nice work but there's still a little black bar on bottom of the dock. How can I remove it so the dock background is fully invisible?

Hmm...i havent used linux in over a year..but my guess is that it is an issue with the top padding variable. Change the top padding variable to either a large (10-20) or large negative (-10 - -20) and see if that helps.

I'm not shure about that but I think there is no padding variable

I don't have a folder named ~/.config/plank/theme. Am I supposed to create it?

Looks so clean, I love it. How can I change only the icons on the dock? I've trying this, but Plank insist in using the icon on the .desktop file...

Thanks!, and yes you are right, so what you have to do it basically create copies of the .desktop files that you want and change the icon path to the desired icon. Then, change the path to the modified .desktop file in the .dockitem files in ~/.config/plank/dock1/launchers/
If you have anymore questions, just ask!
