Description
For Yumekoisei’s new years outfit, I mostly gave her simple hakama pants along with a haori. The reason for this is because I don’t think you would wear anything extravagant or flashy if you’re hammering sticky rice, but I still added some small details and accessories so she wouldn’t look too plain and boring.

I also gave her outfit a blue, gold and silver color scheme to give it a night sky image with small hints of light green to symbolize good luck and fortune.

The moon and rabbit details are meant to reference the Japanese folktale of the moon rabbit, with the two kanji (月兎) on the fan of her hair accessory meaning moon (月) and rabbit (兎) respectively.

The kanji (祈星) on the little green slip on her hakama belt accessory mean wish and prayer (祈) and star (星). So it literally translates to wishing star (at least I hope it does. I don’t really know Japanese so I mostly use translation tools online so I’m really sorry if I got this wrong).
