OK this is also part of my concentration and represents the fear of losing your youth and vanity and all that BUT IT IS BASED on the Blood Countess Elizabeth Bathory. I absolutely love this whole story (prolly cuz she was a serial killer) but she was a countess that believe when she drank or bathed in the blood of young girls or virgin girls, she would look younger so this picture is depicting her with her victims bathing in their pure blood and a mirror behind revealing her true age and identityLISTEN TO THIS SONG IF U WANNA HEAR AN EPIC MUSICAL INTERPRETATION OF IT: [link]

But, I don't want to nit-pick but I have to...lol. Erzebet never really drank or bathed in the blood of her virign victims—that part of her legend is a myth. She rubbed her all over her skin, yes, but she never full-out bathed in it. (the movie "The Countess" shows an interesting adaptation of she not bathing. She stood under a cage where the victims were pierced with spikes, then bleeding unto her) Sorry to nit-pick but...her story is my favorite of most serial killers I've met and seeing her bathing in blood...nope.
Either way, this is a really fantastic piece

(btw, if you like her story as much as I do, you should check out this video: [link] . It's by the band Opera Diabolicus and though it's a bit heavy, I really like it. The whole album that song is from, "1614" is about Elizabeth. The albums title is even a reference to the year she died. You should check them out; they're awesome

and idk i feel i shouldn't have used coloured pencils to do the colours over the red paint but like pastels but oh well too late now
lol yeah one of my friends seemed a little freaked out xD even though he knows my concentration was rather dark lol
and HMMM THAT VIDEO WAS INTERESTING. AND SNOWY SHAW!! I recognize that name from the OCWN dvd and man THAT MOUSTACHE DOES NOT SUIT HIM IMO.

ok on the OCWN dvd he just lip-syncs doesn't he??? cuz it doesn't seem like he is actually singing....and lol idk I think it's weird since his stache is a different color than HIS HAIR xD
