After playing with it for a couple months.  I think I'm going to go back to flash.  ToonBoom Studio 4.5 still feels awkward to use.  Off the top of my head, what I liked best about it is the color palette, onion skins, and the lack of crashing and glitches.  When it comes to workflow, I feel like I have to find quite a bit of work arounds to get it to behave.  Maybe that's just because I'm not used to traditional paper and pencil animation, not sure.  But in the end it felt like I was fighting against ToonBoom.

I've only tried it for about a week so I'll just say that it feels different to me at the moment.  If I'm comparing it to flash, there are things done better in Toonboom such as having a competent color palette.  But then there's also a bunch of little things that throw a wrench into my usual workflow; either because I haven't figured out how to work efficiently in ToonBoom or because they don't exist.  I'm not sure yet.  I also, kind of wish ToonBoom was able to export gifs, had to transfer this pinkie animation through 2 additional programs (which are currently located on another computer) to upload it.

All in all I think I like it and I'm going to keep playing around with it.

Yeah I usually wait a while before it's uploaded here.  I'm also trying to learn how to make a preloader.
