What none of the Octolings were aware of was that they had a passenger along for the ride. Dex, under partial possession of Kalfor, was latched onto the underside of the ship.

"You will not harm Maeka or Arima. Not while either of us breathe!" he muttered to himself, overhearing the conversation between the Octolings. His claws dug into the hull of the transport as it flew to the Octoling base.

So the Octoling clan have abducted Maeka again and Dex and Kalfor are planning to save them. But the base is large and many Octolings patrol the building. Will they save the two without attracting attention. Or will they be captured themselves and subjected to the torture as well?
