Bellona
Powers, Etc:
War God Physiology, Enchanted Spear and Shield, Military combat training
Origin:
To the world at whole the roman goddess of war was seen as an unneeded thing of the past. Yet there was always a war or conflict brewing. And Bellona had a lust of battle and fight in any war or conflict even if she had to do it in secret. She would happen to join a small revolutionary group attempting to stage a rebellion and realizes that she should use her powers to stop wars instead of continuing them. She would grow into a hero to fight for peace and freedom.

So February is my Birth month. So I figured I celebrate by doing two things I love making superheroes and Amalgams. I decided to make amalgams out of my old characters. I also figured this allow me to do a sort of retrospective on my old characters and talk about them.
The amalgam that I have here is Bellona. An Amalgam of Cardea Goddess of Doors (www.deviantart.com/1ofthem/art… ) and Deinomache (www.deviantart.com/1ofthem/art… ). I made Deinomache for a hero machine contest some years back and went for a militaristic approach to it giving me the idea they were a guerilla warfare fighter. While Cardea I did cause I was trying to make a group with interesting powers.
