Previously on Another Stark

Both assassins kept quiet and Tony had high hopes that they would agree to his compromise, but found out the hard way that neither had intentions of agreeing to his terms.

“Mie teama ca nu” (I’m afraid not) she remarked, “Iarna, lansează-mă.” (Winter, launch me.)

With that, Khione was thrown in Tony’s direction and all he saw was white as she released a torrent of ice and snow, before everything faded into black.

(Y/N) had always known that her father was a stubborn and sometimes obstinate man, but she never thought that he would completely disregard the plan completely. Tony was simply meant to keep the two assassins occupied long enough for the rest of the group to catch them by surprise. From there, separating the two and fighting with them long enough that they would be able to have the assassins disarmed and restrained.

Of course, he had only gone ahead with a part of the plan but veered away from the rest of what they had intended to do. Which was why they now had to go and possibly rescue Tony from the grasp of the assassins.

Khione looked intently at Tony, her gaze never wavering from the familiar features of the man. Even before taking (Y/N) captive, Khione had a feeling that she had a previous life before ever being part of the organization, but the young girls presence had solidified what she once thought was just her imagination.

As Tony woke up, Khione looked around the room and slightly loosened the restraints on his wrists that held him down to his chair.

“We don’t have much time, so I need you to listen and don’t question anything. Every time that I turn this machine on, you need to scream as though it were actually hurting you. Got it? Okay, because otherwise I won’t be able to get you out of this mess” she said, as she adjusted the lights and machine.

“Hold on a second, what do you mean-”

She turned on the machine, and just as she had instructed him, he let out a blood curdling scream. When she turned it off for a moment, she moved her mask away to let him see just enough of her face that his eyes widened and he was left flabbergasted.

“I am going to assume from your expression that you know me. In that case, I need you take my son Von far away from here as soon as you leave this place, understand?”

“Wait a minute, you can’t just-”

Once again, she cut him off by turning on the machine and he screamed once again.

“I have no recollection of my past, but I have to assume that if you once knew me that you can ensure that my son will not be used for this organizations gain. He is my sole reason for living and it would break my heart to see my son be used by them” she said.

“I can’t just take you kid away, he needs his mom” said Tony.

“You weren’t saying that earlier when you didn’t know who I was” she retorted.

Turning the machine on, and he played his part.

“You can come with us and we can keep you safe from them.”

“It’s far too late for me, Stark. I have been with this organization for a number of years and they will not let me go, but my son has not been used yet and he still has a chance of living a normal life” she cried, “I would rather not be able to see him for the rest of my life than for anything to happen to my little boy.”

The machine once again roared to life.

Tony’s lips pressed against hers, as tears poured down her face.

“I will get you out of here Lily and I promise to watch out for your kid, okay” he murmured as he pressed a chaste kiss on her lips and ripped himself free of his restraints.

Lily, otherwise known as Khione by superiors watched him escape the room and cried out when he was no longer in sight. Just barely being able to find her voice as she spoke into her communicator that Tony had escaped and once again covered her face.
