Looks like it's been a while since this got some attention ^^
I've been looking for a very strong rock texture for a digital painting of mine, and this looks perfect.
Do you mind if I use this for the mountain?

Thanks. Actually, this is mostly orange and white travertine, a kind of calcium carbonate deposit left behind by the water coming from the cold water geyser that was releasing carbon dioxide gas. This particular deposit is very biotic, with lots of algae and bacteria encrusted in it. It's not limestone, though sometimes confused with it, but it has that kind of smell to it. This here is very young travertine and in some other photos I will upload you can see the terracing effect the running water has made to it. It's gorgeous.
