Description The amazing Zenyatta gazes out upon her legions of fans lining the walkover from the barn...all hoping to get a glimpse of the undefeated champion. I have never, ever, seen a horse like her before. She dances. I've heard it. I've seen the videos on youtube and live on television. But when I saw her dance and prance and put on a show not two feet in front of me...well...I cried. This horse seems to appreciate all the attention she gets. This is a horse that seems to recognize that she's a star. And that's something really special.

I love my job, and I'm very fond of the athletes I work with. All images are Β©copyright 1pen and my sports media company. You may NOT use, replicate, manipulate, or modify this image without my permission. All Rights Reserved.

Zenyatta just is amazing, she does dance I was nearly crying when I saw her win the Breeder's Cup. It was just.. Phenomenal.

Drove fifteen hours. Spent close to a thousand bucks. Braved a parking lot mess you've never seen before...WORSE than the Kentucky Derby. Staked out a spot in the tunnel an hour before she arrived....well, you get the picture.

Absolutely worth it.

beautiful picture..this is VERY true. i have never seen a horse this magnificent in my 16 years of living. im lucky to be in this generation to see her. others have seen secretariat..affirmed..seabiscuit even!... but for me to experience watching her, and hearing such a reaction from the crowd...its truly magical..and gives me goosebumps every time i see her cross that finish line first...onto #19!!! go zen!

I was lucky enough to the Kentucky Oaks/Derby package this year and to do this single day at Del Mar. I've seen Rachel. I've seen General Quarters and Musket Man and Super Saver and Lookin at Lucky. And lots of others during that mega weekend in May. At Del Mar, Zenyatta was the ONLY really really big name that day. Now I'm a very big Rachel fan. But I will say this. I got to see Zenyatta win.

And you're right. The big thing is the crowd reaction. They screamed during the Derby...but...it's the Derby. They're not entirely sure just who they're screaming for. On Saturday all 32,000 people were screaming for only one horse. It's enough to give you goosebumps.

Oh deary...we were all squealing like little girls. Funny thing is..I had a bunch of snooty...and I mean SERIOUSLY snooty ladies beside me talking about how horrible horse racing is and why are they here and blah blah blah and after she pranced right by us they...yep...they squealed and said, I kid you not, "OMG! Can you believe it! OMG She's amazing. She's so beautiful. Oh look at her dance! Look at her dance! Let's go follow her to the paddock!"

She converts all.

GO HER THEN.

i want to see her. i would bawl my eyes out, because i am awesome like that. and tend to obsess over horses far more than people.

Oh I totally bawled my eyes out. I bawled before she came out. I bawled when I saw that she really really does dance. I bawled when she won. I bawled when she came back. I bawled when they walked her back to the barn. Cool thing was? I was hardly alone.

In other words...I laughed. I cried. It became a part of me. It was much better than "Cats". I want to do it again and again and again.

Thanks. I really only have a few awesome pictures of her. Mostly I have a ton of awesome photos of the rail. And the ambulance that always parked in front of me. And the back of some old lady's head.

Did you see a blone woman with a Zenyatta poster? Or a woman wearing a tiara, holding a pink Zenyatta sign? Those were some of my fantasy horse racing buddies who also love Zenyatta.
