Oh. SNAP. MegaMan. GOD this is long over due!!!! Sophomore year in college [2003-04] I wanted to do a Megaman comic, right around the time Dreamwave Comics was going to release one. but i thought that it would be cool if it was more of a real sci-fi story with cybernetics being a little more plausible in design and all that. My pal Dylan did a few sketches, since I suck at cybernetic stuff and he RULES. I have them somewhere, but I have no idea where. Anyway, did a sweet ass Megaman based on that concept. Enjoy!!!----
Again, apologies for the weak the quality on these next ones. I started moving around this time and with packing traveling and what not, I didn't have much time to do these, so i would just do a quick one.

This is incredible. I would read a comic-book really realizing a storyline behind megaman, because there never seemed to be a definitive version.
The style reminds me of the gorillaz haha. i would like to see a more Manly sort of looking mega man as much of the cover art for the games suggest.

I fully disagree on a manlier Mega Man. He always seems so cool as a boy. I just think he needs to be bad ass. Now Mega Man X on the other hand, that dude is more of an adult.

The style of the face just reminds me of the gorillaz is all. And yeah, man or not, as long as megaman actually kicks major robot toosh, im sure it would turn out better.

This is pretty cool. I always appreciate how powerful and emotive simple line-art can be... Is it weird that the cybernetics make me think of Bob-Ombs?

If you understood my thought-process you'd probably think it was a weird thought to have. It was a combination "cybernetics," "more plausible," and "video game character" that reminded me of the Super Mario Bros. movie, which was an attempt at a "more plausible" take on the video games, of which the Bob-Ombs and some of the other characters were cybernetic creatures... Crazy how my mind works, huh?
I really like line art and having looked through your gallery I can't say much of it is too over worked.
