Simple use of lighting effects, burn, dodge, and anything else I experimented with using...gasp...Photoshop 4. You saw that right: Photoshop 4. I'm so old.

Image was snagged from a teaser trailer circa 2003 from www.dchiang.com and given all the digital trimmings mentioned above. So, obviously, credit shall be given to Sparx Animation Studios for the animated teaser trailers, as well as Doug Chiang and Orson Scott Card for authoring and illustrating the book.

The website is old (like me), so if you are able to download and/or watch the embedded teasers, they're quite nice if you enjoy old-school CGI rendering technology. The music is great, though!
