Description
after many days of work is finally finished, just in time for Valentine's Day.

In the drawing event: She falls in between his knees in some strange way..

I drew the basic outline by hand, but the color I did with photoshop .. which is not so easy.
I do not know how many layers there were but they were many ...

I know that I am not so good at using Photoshop..
So I understand if you think that it was not so good.
But I hope it will do anyway ..
I am trying to learn photoshop, which I think is very difficult when you must learn yourself.
But I am learning bit by bit, and the more I use it the better it will be .. hopefully ..

But I hope you enjoy and appreciate this drawing ...

Comment or give feedback on the picture if you feel like it .. I appreciate everything.

Have a great Valentine's Day with much love ..

The overall theme of this picture is very cute, the heart shaped pillows and such really brings the feeling of Valentine's day to this piece. Bravo! It may not be a bad eye to seek some anatomy references for your next work, it's more than obvious you didn't use one. The bodies fit awkwardly together. The female's right foot almost seems broken, and I'm not entirely sure what she's doing with her left hand. Her necklace is in the air, is she squirming? The male's legs seem very tiny. The coloring is really nice, but try to do some material studies. Besides that, you actually have a good sense of color value. I'm very sure hair doesn't shine like a zigzag. I'm not the biggest fan of big-eyed styled anime, but that's just being biased.

All in all, this actually a wonderful piece. Use a reference next time and you'll be golden.

Happy Valentine to you as well~~!

Hahaha, cute how the girl falls in love literally. And in the hands of the prince too! X3

It must have been hard to get the anatomy right with all the movement and perspectives. I advice you to use a reference (ask a boy to pose together for you this valentine ;] ). But the anatomy is not the thing that strikes me the most.

What strikes me more were the colours actually. I don't like the colour scheme that much. I don't know if I should have said that (I don't even like my own colouring), but I thought I should say it anyway. The colours in the eyes are too light, you could have added more shadow in it (and maybe you should have made it a little darker too). And the colouring method you used on the boy's hair is different from the one you used on the girl.

I really like how you've done the girl's outfit (and not because I have an outfit which almost looks the same, hahaha). I like the colours and how they seem to look natural, unlike the boy's clothes. You should apply that colouring technique more often. ^^

Anyway, it seems like you've been experimenting as you were making this artpiece in Photoshop. I encourage you to continue to do so and please have a look at some tutorials along the way, I'm sure they'll be useful while your looking for your own way of art.

Own way of art...Did that sound corny? Hehe~~

Good luck!

this is really cute, and photoshop isn't easy and takes practice, especially if you use a mouse

a tablet takes a bit to get used to as well, (at least if you are used to the mouse that is)

this is cute :3 i really like how you shaded the cushions in the foreground and your foreshortening is excellent also :3 For someone who is relatively new to using Photoshop you're doing pretty good. I mean i never even figured out what layers did until i had been using the program for about 2 years. There is one cushion, siting right at the very front which looks really really wonderful, they all do, but that one is my favourite :3

In terms of Critique : I think anatomy and proportions are your downfall, especially on the heads and hands; though you got the feet pretty much perfect which is very difficult to do. Also, the girl's arms look pretty okay to me but the man's look a bit awkward. I think you just need to watch out for the proportions between head and shoulders. a good way to do this is to sketch out the entire figure you want to draw as a wire-frame or stick-man. i know it sounds dumb but if you draw this first and then build up everything from there it will really help with proportioning. It will also help you figure out if the pose you are drawing is going to suit the final piece without putting too much time and effort into it.

Anyway i hope this helps :3 And: if you are looking for tutorials on Photoshop, there should be several good ones floating about on this site if you have a search for them. they can be really useful.

great attitude. Anatomy is a difficult thing, but if you keep practicing, you'll get the hang of it in the end
