On the normal set, is the normal/alternate supposed to be small? Because on my download it is.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

1stf00t3r In reply to Arcringno [2010-07-12 00:41:02 +0000 UTC]

it's the same size as in the screenshot here ... if it's smaller, it's because you've inadvertently adjusted it in cursorfx

could you by chance get those and put them in a regular windows cursor format? It would be totally kickass if you could.

I really like the resize cursors in this theme.

Would you mind if I included them in my cursor theme and shared it with the community (with appropriate credit given to you, of course)

I think I know why you chose CursorXP.

It allows more flexibility, but at the cost of much RAM. For example, the default Windows XP Cursors can't be more than 32 x 32.

furnilover21 [2008-08-10 23:53:44 +0000 UTC]

I still want to know why cursorXP.

It's way too heavy for low-end computers like mine, plus most of the features are in the "Plus" version (Which you have to pay for.) I suggest you make .cur files outta these.

I can't though. I don't know how, and extracting cursorXPtheme files results in png files. (Also, by default, the MOVE cursor is not included with cursorxpthemes.) Meaning I can't extract the animated cursor icons, sorry. You'd have to make them into cur files yourself.

CursorXP is also way too resource intensive for my tastes, another reason.

1stf00t3r In reply to furnilover21 [2008-08-12 01:23:18 +0000 UTC]

i'm sorry, but i have no reason to convert to .cur file - if you know someone who can and would like to, they can.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

furnilover21 In reply to 1stf00t3r [2008-08-12 04:45:48 +0000 UTC]

I've also converted your animated mouse things to their respective ani files.

By the way, cur and ani files must be 32 x 32 max, hence why you probably won't convert them (since your current mouse pointers are 48 x 48.)

1stf00t3r In reply to furnilover21 [2008-08-12 12:08:02 +0000 UTC]

actually, my current mouse pointers are 24x24 - i can use any size with cxp - i don't convert to .cur because i don't use it, simple as that

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

furnilover21 In reply to 1stf00t3r [2008-08-12 22:33:53 +0000 UTC]

cur and ani are more universal though if you ask me.

Although if everyone switched to linux, you'd be out of a job. Since Wine can't emulate windows cursors outside of its own windows.
