I've been neglecting my starships for many days in order to put this together.

Lots of explanation needed for everything you see in this picture. The only thing canon in the entire scene is the Type 2 assault phaser in everyone's side holster. Everything else I've taken from other scifi universes and tried to make it fit in Trek.

This Marine Rifle Squad is modeled on the ALIENS universe Colonial Marines rifle squad. A Corporal, Lance Corporal and 2 privates. The Cpl leads and you can see him looking at his holographic LCARS display projected from his left arms guard (Vambrace). He is armed with a standard phaser rifle. The Lance Corporal is in the heavy powered armor and is armed with a heavy infantry phaser like the one Khan used in ST: Into Darkness. One privates is a support trooper for the powered armor, he's armed with a CQB phaser carbine in a bullpup configuration. The other Private crouching in a defensive position with his personal shield activated and phaser rifle at the ready.

The 3 normal soldiers started off as an Imperial Officer from Star Wars. Their huge muscled arms were custom made many years ago by me for a Captain America model. Most of their armor is from WH40K, standard Cadia pattern Imperial Guard Armor. The helmet for all of them is from Robotech, specifically MOSPEADA. The shoulder armor (pauldron) is from WH40K. Originally I was using a model from a Thunder Warrior, but it didn't lend itself very well to modification. So I used a model from the Lamentors Space Marine Chapter. That let be put the Earth globe in the middle and still allowed me to color the big rivets as personal shield projectors to protect their flanks and a bit of overhead. The holster the Type2 phaser rests in, is from Han Solo. Each trooper is equiped with a PipBoy type of tricorder/display and personal shield emitter in their left vambrace. I tried to copy the camo from ENTERPRISE MACO's, but the best I could do was take a marble texture and color it red and grey.

The big heavy guy in powered armor started off as a Starcraft Terran Marine. I got rid of his legs and replace a number of body parts with cyclone armor from MOSPEADA. The shoulder pauldrons are from WH40K. Feet, groin,chest and arm guards with rockets are from MOSPEADA.

Weapons are as follows: The heavy guy is armed with a model I got from a TERMINATOR. The support guy with a carbine is also from the TERMINATOR franchise. The two phaser rifles are from a model I found on 3DCADBROWSER that was only labeled as Laser Rifle. I've never seen it anywhere else. The only thing these guys are lacking are photon grenades and a bladed weapon like a sword or dagger.
