Description crazy WIP of a soviet flying wing. Wings from a Bear, fuselage from a Bison.

EDIT: After a very long time away from 3d modeling I really wanted to finish texturing this.

A unique design which still gives off a Russian like persona to the machine.

Nice! Β Although why did you go with turboprops? Β It looks like it would go much faster with jet engines

In regards to the Cutangus comments I thought of a "what if" design for a turboprop medium bomber. The aircraft would be a twin turboprop Tu-16,with "Bear" engines of course!

The propellers are contra-rotational.

Good idea! Swept wings and engines from Tupolev "Bear" are so good designed that they deserves to be used in new configurations, as flying wings and canards like this. For some time I imagined a two-egine heavy interceptor (like the Tupolev Tu-128) based on the 16.000 shp. turpoprop engines of the huge "Bear".
You do the right thing here, but maybe forget some dorsal gun turrets!

Push and turboprop? The original is fast enough already.

Very creatively. I love it!
I have some suggestion - I think, that refueling rod must be placed upper (and shifted left/right for better visibility), because it 's shading radar's antenna in current position (don't forget about radar station in nose)

Yes, but how well is the question. It would be fast, faster than the machines it was assembled from. Reminds a bit of the Starship composite airliner design.

Great design!
