As far as I know, Deinonychus was considered a species of Velociraptor back then. Indeed "Predatory Dinosurs of the World" refers to Deinonychus as Velociraptor antirhopus. Indeed the JP Raptor look more like Deinonychus.
I also think that Utahraptor would work pretty well for Jurassic Park.
