UUUGH!!!!!!!!! OH NOOOOO! I have no idea what's gonna' happen next but...right, here's the story...Yesterday, I was playing Tomodachi Life. After playing for an hour, I decided to save. So, like anybody would, I pressed 'save'...
AND THEN, IT SAID 'SD card came out, press power off'. NOOO, I didn't remove the SD card!! I thought "this is absolutely terrible". I decided to play it again to make sure it didn't corrupt ALL the data. It was OK. But then, it said the SD card was removed AGAIN. And again, and so on for about 12 times. Then, today, I decided to play this game again...it didn't error at all. Until, when I pressed the 'save' button, it said ERROR OCCURRED, PRESS POWER OFF. IF THIS ERROR PERSISTS, CONTACT (website address of Nintendo).
~so....there's the story. Please say in the comments if this has ever happened to you...

This happen once. That screen appeared I just restarted my 3ds and the game was good to go.

lol i hated it when that happened to me, had to restart. it wasn't too bad though because I only had like seven or eight islanders.

Oh my........I think I would've cried if ALL the data was deleted!! ^^'
but anyways, I am SOOO relieved that just the data which was created BEFORE that error was deleted instead of EVERYTHING!
Well, I've just gone on the game to see if the data had gone but it seems completely fine! And, so does the 'save'ing.
But still, if that error had occurred after a long time of playing, I would actually be sad...

omg! i think i've figured out how to solve this problem!!!
if you have a laptop, this'll work:
Put your 3DS's SD card in your laptop. copy ALL the 3DS sd card's data to laptop documents,
take 3DS's SD card out , put a DIFFERENT SD card into laptop. Move the data from the documents to the SD card.
and then, start playing! (:
