Thank you ^^ I slowly study arts alone. I say - great art takes time, so is improvement :3 I want to enter art academy after i graduate from school... leets see xD if i have skills to do so.
What i like the best from your gallery is "Portraits and still life" folder... you are so SOO good with them! You've been tought in art school to draw like this? Or it is your own improvement?

Thanks! I have to say that I do like that folder too That was a happy chapter of my life. I was in an art district ^^ the best part is to be surrounded by other artistic people and of course, marbles and paintings. I would have been too lazy and unmotivated to practice boring still life at home >.<

I see, that you draw digitaly now. Why don't you draw traditionaly anymore ( or seldom)?

So you get inspiration from going to place, taht has artistic feeling and atmosphere? That is great! I...sadly, don't know such a place in my town. Sure there are a lot of old men selling random paintings in some parts of old city, but, i guess, we don't have special art district...

When i was in Paris i saw such a place... A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. My pencil was yelling for drawing back then ;D

When you are there, do you do commissions, or just draw stuff?

hehe I'm deeply annoyed by digital art ^^" I just have my art supply with me and it's takes some place and time (bucket of water, washing palette etc.)

Yes is was I understand, I'm back in Montreal now and even though there's a lot of art gallery, I never get that special inspiration freedom. I guess the best we can do is to cherish whatever atmosphere we are in

You're so lucky! Everyone says that Europe is art paradise

I was just practicing ^^ I mean, China is very competitive, to succeed, they have to own skills and creativity. They are soooo many people working ridiculously hard to achieve it. I really doubt if they would have brought my drawing for just a dollar

You should try drawing traditional art. You really are good with it and you are also inspiration
I also take tools with me where ever i go xD Sketchbook is by my side at all time. What if inspiration comes, or whatr if i am going to be bored - TA-DAH! i could draw xD

And you feel more inspirated in Montreal? Btw, i just wanted to ask you - where do you get your ispiration?

Europe is.. but for sure not Latvia xD That is why i try to trael a lot. To find inspiration and artists It is always nice to see how people paint in real life, the process of making, not already finished painting ^^

Oh gosh! China! i watched a documentary about this coutry and omg! I seriously have to visit it sometime. I just love Asia for its nature, customs, tradition and architecture ^^
But i do agree, that today there are a lot of artists and each and every of them think, that they are the best and lower others. That is why it is important to deelope your skills, find your art style and improve it. Draw not like others and attract attention because of it Be the white crow in black ones.

Btw, did you uploaded new artworks? I would love to see them
