its obviously too clean and could use some grunge texture that I think someone else mentioned but I'm a sucker for a sci fi corridor. the writer in me is always asking what just beyond. Such a simple thing and its imaginative.

yeah like those but the floors are still to clean, some clutter will break that though. I still like WIPs and the corridor caught my interest as questions just pop into mind, Why is the panel off the wall? Could the air vent be openned? and whats behind the door? For some reason I tend to fixate on the subject matter.

Nails, a hammer... plywood

Hmmm the software was Cinema 4D R11, pretty much completely - all materials are procedural with the exception of the warning stripes on the door - which was created in Photoshop CS4

but some pipe will be look a like realistic if u put carbon plastic material...

Thanks - lol yes I have 3DS Max too - well an older version of it, I just LOVE the stability and smoothness of Cinema 4D though - MUCH prefer it over Max I searched long and hard through different software's before falling in love with the workflow in C4D

As I'm having to model some complex sci-fi machinery for one of my own projects right now - I'm sure wishing I had that natural intuition for making convincing machines looking good! a little texturing goes a long way!
