She represents desire, ego, ambition, pride, unfaithfulness and jealousy. She pulls you down like gravity when you least suspect it.
It's hard to accept, but sometimes we just need to go through the bad to get to the good... Life swings between times of doubt and times of triumph. There would be no one without the other. Perhaps the things that pull us down aren't so bad after all, after all we would not be where we are today without the lessons they have taught us.
I'd like to think that just as we have our angels guiding us towards purity, we have those that guide us towards corruption. Neither are evil. Both are necessary. Both work towards the furthering of our souls.

Just a word about the ten pointed star on her staff, it's called the decagram and it represents the 10 sephiroth on the kabbalah tree of life. In essence it is the symbol of all-emcompassing reality, from the physical world all the way to god.

For nearly two full days I barely left my computer. I don't know why this painting happened so quickly, even my boyfriend who was next to me most of the time I was drawing it was astonished at how quickly I progressed on it. It kind of just blurted out of me...
It's nice to finally feel like I am comfortable within a style. I can't say I have mastered it yet, but it definately flows and it is very satisfying.
