I love how the light shining on Red and the butterflies fluttering around her shows how lost Red is by her own optimism and innocence.

Oh my goodness! I just love the overall feel to this picture. Something about a lit clearing in the middle of a forest says magic to me.

Yeah there is no doubt its fun to try and put a diff style to the old fairytales, I would still like to do some more.
I did all the flat colours in Flash and then all shading and texturing in photoshop!
I'd love to see your take on the fairytales!

Unfortunately I don't have the time right now; I've done a Wizard of Oz-pic last year (dunno if that qualifies) and scribbled a little Red Riding-Hood some time ago, which I never finished...and one day I'D LOVE to do Alice in Wonderland, with all of those weird funny characters...
