I recently met a nice fan of my work, who in particular liked my Sonic pictures. It made me think about how I’ve struggled in the past to make a Sonic piece that would appeal to the 6-year-old version of me, so I worked on this!
Classic Sonic and classic Tails. Look at Tails! How did they manage to screwup his cuteness?! I wanted to capture the essence of old Sonic games through the bright colours, the blue Sega sky and the classic style characters.
I guess it’s also a tribute to the 20th Anniversary Sonic game, Sonic Generations. Which in my opinion is the best thing Sonic has done in the past 15 years. It’s tough being a Sonic fan.

Cool! This is so well detailed, I especially like the star effect as if Sonic picked up an invincibility box. I don't know if that was intentional or not but its still a pretty nice touch though. Great job with this!

I 1st saw this in Google Plus. I had a dreamy impression when I saw this, but I got kinda sad because in Google Plus the PNG images lose its qualities. I'm actually glad I found the original in deviantArt. Keep up the awesome work!!

You're always an inspiration, no matter your subject matter. If I wasn't busy NOT making trains crash into each other I'd take artwork as serious as you. I love how you can make source material your own style while rendering it similar to the originals. And you definitely enjoy your work.

You're definitely right about enjoying the work. Some people say you shouldn't do your hobby as a job, because then you have to find a new hobby... but I disagree. I wouldn't have it any other way!

That's actually what happened to me before I became an engineer. I used to fix computers, then I ran my own store. Now I refuse to even fix my own computers. But its usually stress that kills your hobbies.
