I just got back from seeing this movie and it is amazing. Β Furiosa is a complete badass who stands toe-to-toe with Max and they both get a lot of great moments. Β Ignore the haters. Β See it. Β It is absolutely worth your time and money.

I am after wtching the movie and must say the ONe and only "minus" I have, and one youtuber-dont remember his name has the same opinion-and its like this: if this movie was called anything other than mad max i dont think it would get such audience. I feelt like this is just a post apocaliptic movie-not a mad max movie. It had too litle Max and too much of those generic female characters-the only reason it is a "mad max" movie is to sell more tickets. Other than that I must say tat I really enjoyed the movie-it was to say it simple-awesome-almost 2 hours of pretty much non stop action-and it wasnt boring at all-and for a movie to be non stop action and not boring is quite impressive, like i said-my only gripe is it isnt a mad max movie

Two things:
1) Fury Road has the same basic plot structure as Road Warrior AND Beyond Thunderdome: Max stumbles into the middle of other people's problems, he ends up helping these people to further his own goals, then he rides off into the sunset.
2) I'm pretty sure George Miller is the sole authority on what qualifies as "a Mad Max movie."

Well I liked the movie- but it didnt have any mad max feel to it-i understand your 2 reasons, but still -my opinion is-this movie has mad max in title for tickets only,awesome movie
