Hmm would you mind doing a scene from my fanfiction:

He sat carefully on the chair that was beside the bed and clasped her hand in his own. Clover’s eyes opened slightly, and Danny guessed that the bright lights must have been hurting her head. She turned slightly. Her neck must have hurt too and she raised a hand up to feel the bandages around her throat.

Danny peeled her hands away, “Don’t mess with that.”
She blinked at him, and raised a hand shakily to stroke his chin. He caught her hand in his own and kissed it, not being able to shake off the tears that were beginning to spill down his cheeks.

“I’m so sorry.” He whimpered, now clutching onto her hand as if it were a life-line. She said nothing to console him, just watched him vaguely. After a moment, he quieted down, and then began brushing back her hair.

“What’s bothering you?” he asked gently.
