Kai Yi loves fashion a lot, she might even find excuses just to go to town to look at new clothes, accesorries and items as she could never seem to afford them herself. For that reason, she enjoys making her own clothes and accesorries, allowing her to gain interest in art. She can be very picky, be it the colours on other people's attire, her meals, her art tools etc. Her image is just a Happy-go-lucky simpleton, she likes to crack jokes here and there and just be herself. But sometimes she overstays her welcome and feel the need to be quiet and apologise. Her morales and beliefs are as of a child, if she made a mistake, she will apologise, if she feels happy or proud about her works, she'll boast a little. Most of the time, she'll try to keep it to a moderate level. (She may be a little inconsiderate at times but she is learning as she goes)

•Biography:
Kai was raised by the ocean by her 2 older brothers and her father. She was semi-raised as a boy because they were poor and whenever there are special treats given by the neighbors they would fight over it. If Kai didn't learn to be aggressive then her life with her brothers would have been very bland. All 3 of them learned how to fish from their dad. The oldest son, Kai Han prefer to set sail to the middle of the ocean with a huge fishing net, commercial fishing as they call it. Kai Wen, the second brother prefers to dig up crabs and clams from the muddier areas while as Kai Yi prefered to fish with a fishing rod by the docks.

When going to town to sell fresh fishes with her brothers, she prefers to dress up as a boy because they were poor so her clothes were always raggy and torn. It's better to dress like a working male than a female that has nothing fashionable on her, that's what she thought. Her brothers were usually the ones doing business, Kai would just sit there and draw passerbies that interests her. Most of them were boys. She absolutely adore boys that are fashionable, has attractive features and such. (You can say she became boycrazy at a certain age)
When she reached the age of 13, all her clothes started to be handsewn by her and she started to enjoy dressing up as a girl more and more, but that doesn't stop her crossdressing habits as the towns people recognizes her as Kai Yi the 3rd son of the Lim family instead of Kai Yi, the only daughter of the Lim family.

Kai Han (oldest brother) was offered a job as a government official for JingLong, the messenger came to Kai's house to deliver the message. Kai just came back from from town so she still looked like a guy, the messenger mistook her for her brother and asked her to sign the agreement and she did. In the end, she took the job offer instead of her brother. Slowly, she worked her way up to be the head of Dumplings.
